【林世雄／台中報導】針對國民黨內有人提議要「郝（台北市長郝）、立（新北市長朱立倫）、強（台中市長胡志強）」三人出任國民黨副主席一事，胡志強今天表 示：「不了解此事，沒有規劃，也沒有意願！畢竟我在台中工作，擔任副主席的話，會不會要我常常跑台北？會不會影響我的工作？是我最大的考量！」，謝謝大家 好意，「我深愛國民黨，但怕接受職務後，沒有時間可以參與黨務！」。

對於媒體追問，如果他出任副主席對於黨內和諧是否有幫助？他說：「我現在不能談這個問題，因為我根本就沒有打算，也不見得有這種意願，所以不要問我這個問題！」胡志強是在靜宜大學主持市府與各大學院校第8次推動市政建設座談會，會後接受訪問時，做以上表示。
