美國職棒大聯盟MLB波士頓紅襪先發投手「抗癌鬥士」萊斯特（Jon Lester）今天主投7局表現優異，帶領紅襪以6-3擊敗多倫多藍鳥，勇奪美聯東區王座。

美聯社報導，紅襪昨天確定搶下2009以來首張季後賽門票後，今天再添2007年以來首座分區冠軍。

萊斯特只被敲5支安打失1分，投出2個保送、8次三振。這是他近9次有關勝負比賽中的第7勝，也是生涯第100勝。

紅襪明星二壘手佩卓亞（Dustin Pedroia）貢獻3支安打「猛打賞」表現，帶領紅襪拿下近25戰第19勝。
