泛太平洋女網賽　謝淑薇雙打快速晉8

【王毓健／綜合報導】昨天在WTA泛太平洋公開賽單打首輪失利後，台灣網球一姊謝淑薇揚言雙打再來過。她說到做到，搭檔中國好友彭帥，剛在雙打首輪展現頭號種子實力，1小時2分鐘就直落2收拾魔王級非種子漢圖可娃／瑞夢，挺進8強。
 
漢圖可娃、瑞夢雙打最新世界排名分別是第48、22，但漢圖可娃單、雙打最高都曾至第5，瑞夢更是雙打前世界球后。
 
「海峽組合」謝淑薇／彭帥首戰就遇強敵，昨彭帥又先在單打32強出賽，更添不利因素。不過籤運不佳卻被天氣抵銷，東京下雨使賽程重排，意外延長彭帥休息，讓她和謝淑薇有充分時間備戰。
 
謝／彭開賽前2個發球局都被破，一度1比3落後，但接下來瘋狂反擊，連贏7局，不僅逆轉拿下首盤，第2盤也先取得2比0領先。次盤第3局漢圖可娃／瑞夢破發成功暫止失血，但謝／彭又連拿4局，鎖定勝利。
 
這場破發大戰，海峽組合雖3度被破發，但逼得對手給出8個破發點，兌現7個，破發成功率高達87.5%，十分罕見。
