氣候變遷增加人類暴力傾向

《科學》雜誌刊登柏克萊加州大學公共政策研究員所羅門‧項團隊的研究，指出氣候變遷增加人類暴力 (人際衝突與群際衝突)的傾向。氣候變遷對人和社會的影響，有心理因素，也有客觀環境改變造成的衝突，包括海平面上升而人與人爭地、作物歉收而導至社會不安。這項研究含蓋的時間有一萬年，範圍包括地球所有文明，例如八到九世紀的馬雅文明，以及中國的明朝。
