Sony傳完成5400萬畫素全片幅感光元件

雖然近期說明中，Sony強調不會盲目以增加畫素為發展目標，但就相關消息透露，Sony已經完成開發高達5400萬畫素的全片幅感光元件，並且搭載2460組相位對焦點。而因為造價成本仍篇高的情況，預期要等到2015年或2016年才會導入旗下A接環及E接環機種。

根據Sony Alpha Rumors網站引述消息來源表示，指Sony目前已經完成開發高達5400萬畫素的全片幅感光元件，其中將搭載2460組相位對焦點。而在全片幅感光元件採用達5400萬畫素，將能使影像細節表現更為精緻，但相對也會使每單位畫素面積受光量減少，進而影響整替畫質表現。

不過，若以高達2400萬畫素的APS-C規格感光元件作為比較，或許採用5400萬畫素的全片幅感光元件在畫質表現部分，仍可在某種程度取得平衡。

目前還不確定Sony預計將此種規格全片幅感光元件用於核種產品，但估計可能將針對需要超高影像解析度的監視器材，或是應用於特殊攝影需求的相機或錄影機產品。而由於目前造價成本仍偏高情況下，估計至少要等到2015年或2016年才會陸續應用在旗下A接環及E接環機種。
