台灣一千多家養老院，三成床位乏人問津，它卻有一○○％滿住率，排隊要等二十三年；它每週開三十堂課，每人平均空間二十三坪大；它用「尊重」與「有用」，讓長輩「有感」，以一般收費，創造零外勞、零訴訟的照護傳奇。

北台灣三芝沿海，萬坪公園綠地、仿雪梨歌劇院的大教堂旁，一家特別的「排隊店」，坐落於碧海藍天之中。

它是雙連老人安養中心，全國最熱門的養老院。總床數四百三十二床，入住率百分之百，預約人數達一千七百人，現在開始排隊，約二十三年後才排得到。全台養老院提供九萬七千多個床位，尚有三萬多張空床，這裡卻一位難求。

它沒有聘雇外勞，人力比為一比二，是政府規定的四倍；每位老人平均空間二十三坪，是政府規定的四．六倍；它對老人「讓利」，卻年年有盈餘。

內政部每三年評鑑一次老人機構（業務現移交衛福部），分優等、甲、乙、丙、丁五級，連三次評鑑，雙連均為優等，是全台一千零三十三家老人院中，連續三次獲得優等的五家老人機構之一，占比僅○．四八％。

它，紅遍海內外，參訪團平均每月二十個，國內，來自大專院校、EMBA；國外，來自日本、香港。老年人口高達兩億的中國，參訪團更是週週報到，去年迄今，已來了一百四十六團，北京、上海、天津、溫州、武漢，黑龍江團，都跨海來請益。

它，為什麼這麼熱門？

她，從美國被女兒「騙」來住
跟朋友喝茶唱歌，「每天一下就混掉了」

我們走進院內，遇見九十三歲宗奶奶，她一年多前從美國老人公寓「轉學」進來，她說：「我被女兒騙回來的。」

她是山東蓬萊人，二十一歲在東北從事地下工作，人稱「中國川島芳子」。九一八事變後，輾轉來到台灣，七十歲赴美國照顧外孫，外孫成年，她住進美國老人公寓。多年前，有次她在公車上跌倒，緊急送醫；兩個女兒嚇壞了，偷偷上網找到雙連，悄悄繳了訂金。

在台灣的女兒試探：「妳要不要回來住看看哪？」她一回來，女兒就不許她回美國了。「我（美國）的家，整個都給我丟掉了，大的小的（東西），都送給人家，我生氣也沒有用，她們不放心，就是，我年歲大了……。」

日本「朝日新聞」（Asahi）未引述消息來源指出，夏普（Sharp ）取消出售電視組裝廠的計劃，主因亞洲市場的LCD液晶電視銷量攀升。
